TMK made the trophy for the Burajiru Grand Chef. It was a gastronomy competition held by the Consulate-General of Brazil in Tokyo.

The winner was Gustavo Suzuki Barbosa with the dish entitled “The Breath of the Sea”. He came to Japan when he was young and has worked in different restaurants for 15 years.

This year, there was a cake competition too. It was a tribute to the 130 years of diplomatic relationship between Brazil and Japan. The winner was Rogério Shimada with the cake “Japanese Brazilian cake, essence and flavors”.
