Princess Kako visited the Brazil Pavilion, organized by ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), whose theme is “Embracing Sustainability and Celebrating Life.” She toured the first building, which there area around 90 inflatable sculptures representing fauna, flora, and human beings. The first building displays five acts as if they were a space in transformation, addressing the following topics: Exist, Differ, Confluence, Extinguish, Reexist. The visit took place on August 23rd.
ApexBrasil’s Business Director, Ana Repezza, said it was an honor to welcome the Princess and for her choosing to visit the Brazilian space. “Brazil and Japan have a long relationship, and we celebrate 130 years of diplomatic relations in 2025. We are certain that this relationship is eternal,” she emphasized, adding that the Brazil Pavilion has reached the milestone of over one million visitors.
At the press conference after the visit, the director said that the Princess showed interest in the Brazil Pavilion, asking many questions. The original video showing Brazil was two minutes long, but the Princess extended it to six minutes.
“The exhibition demonstrates the integration between humankind and nature and the reconstruction of the cycle of life, creating a better future for all,” Ana emphasized.
In June, Princess Kako visited Brazil and, upon entering the pavilion, commented on her trip.
