The CEO of TMK, Tomio Tadocoro, participated in the seminar about Scholarship for Nikkei Communities in Latin America and the Caribbean: Program for Developing Leaders in Nikkei Communities. The event was held on March 7. It was organized by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency). The goal was to become the friendship more strong with young people of Japanese communities in Latin America as well as an opportunity for them to reflect about how they can contribute for the Nikkei community.
The lecture of Tadocoro was about the company’s history, the advantages and difficulties he had as a Nikkei, qualifications required for a leader. After the lecture, the participants asked questions for the speaker.
