The TMK has been producing about 50,000 pieces a month for the manufacture of trains in Japan. The company has a partnership with J-Trec.
The manufactured trains are for the Yamanote (Tokyo) and Keihin Tohoku (Tokyo) lines and for the high-speed trains (shinkansen) departing from the Tokyo Metropolitan Area to the rest of Japan. The company also produces trains for the Kansai (Osaka) area.
